WHAT A SMALL WORLD...?

They both boarded the same commercial bus, going from Onitsha to Asaba in Nigeria. Jane the younger lady was going for a job interview. As a First-class Bsc. graduate in Petroleum Engineering, she has been invited for a job opportunity worth paying 330,000 Naira per month if granted.
She was looking gorgeous on her neatly ironed semi-long white skirt and blue shirt. Mrs. Chinyere, the older lady in the same bus, was reporting to work.
Jane was already seated when Mrs. Chinyere was about to
enter. As she was about to settle down inside the bus, she mistakenly stepped on Jane's white skirt.
Before  the older lady could finish her first sentence of apology, Jane bursted into an uncontrollable anger, showering abuses on her in the most unpleasant manner. The older lady kept calm and never replied her abuses.
As the bus stopped at Asaba, Mrs. Chinyere went her way to her work place while Jane went to a nearby laundry shop to clean up the stains so as to look neat again for the interview.
After the interview by the company's Board of Directors, Jane was found undoubtably qualified for the job. She was then referred to the office of the company's Chief Executive Officer for final employment approval.
Her eyes couldn't believe what she saw as she opened the door to the CEO's office. It was Mrs. Chinyere's office. In the midst of clouds of shame, she was about to turn her back from the office before the CEO called her back and signed for her employment approval.
Heavy tears filled Jane's eyes as she rendered endless apologies to her. Jane resumed work in the company, her life changed in her relationship with others, but the guilt-feeling of what she did to Mrs. Chinyere never departed her heart. She learnt her lessons.
What a small world...? Let's be kind and tolerant in our relationship with others, even with the child that was born today. Who knows if the other would be a source of help to you in future times.
